Release: Movin' to the Country
Wine: 54% Niagara Peaches and 46% Estate Viognier
Winemaking Notes: Crafted by blending our estate Viognier from the phenomenal 2025 harvest with local Niagara peaches from the 2026 summer season, this wine captures a remarkable two-year journey of regional craftsmanship. The 2026 peach season faced dramatic weather plots—from early spring frosts that naturally thinned the crop, to intense mid-summer heat waves—resulting in smaller, highly concentrated yields packed with deep sugar and intense aromatics. The 2025 Viognier provides a lush, full-bodied foundation overflowing with natural stone fruit character from a banner year celebrated across the Niagara Peninsula for its hot, dry summer and perfect autumn hang-time. Expect a highly aromatic profile rich with honeyed apricot, white blossom, and intense fresh peach aromas. It finishes with a smooth, velvety texture and a rounded, satisfying body that beautifully honors Ontario's tender fruit heritage.
Pair It With: Grilled cheese sandwich with peach chutney, rich chicken tagine with dried apricots, five-spice grilled shrimp skewers, a prosciutto and burrata platter, mild coconut chicken curry, pan-seared scallops with ginger-orange glaze, roasted pork loin with rosemary applesauce, or a light lemon tart.
