Join us for our second community driven run through the vines
at Palatine Hills Estate Winery.

About Ramblers Run 2026

Take it outside this September! Join us for a mid-morning run through the stunning vine fields of Palatine Hills Estate Winery. Whether you're racing the route, walking with a friend, or strolling with your pup, this family-friendly event is all about moving together and supporting a cause close to home.

Please note: attendance is only permitted with advance ticket purchase online prior to the event.

In Support of...

Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold is a long-standing local non-profit supporting individuals and families by providing vital services like food and clothing security, homelessness prevention programs and more.

Together, we can support Community Care's mission to compassionately support individuals in their journey to self sufficiency.

10% of event proceeds will be donated to Community Care.

Guests are encouraged to donate and support the food drive by donating in advance via barrels at the winery in the months prior and on the event day.

Monetary donations are welcome at any time, and can be made online here.

Guests who donate online or through the onsite barrels can speak to staff/ show their donation o receive a BOGO Wanderers Tasting Flight.

Parking: Free, located on the grass area directly in front of the winery, facing Lakeshore Road. 

Accessibility: Some grassy or uneven areas. Jogging strollers recommended.

FAQs

Do I need to be a serious runner?

No. The Ramblers Run is for all levels—runners, walkers, families, and dog lovers. Come for a personal best or just for the good vibes and wine.

When should I arrive?

Plan to arrive early to pick up your bib, get oriented, and stretch. Registration and bib pick-up open at 8:30 AM. Races start at 10:00 AM. Participants will be called to the start line 5 minutes before each race. A warning sound will play 3 minutes before start.

Where do I park?

Parking is free and located on the grassy area directly in front of the venue, facing Lakeshore Road. Event staff and signs will guide you.

Where do I pick up my race bib?

Bib pick-up is at the Registration Tent, opening at 8:30 AM. Bring your confirmation email (printed or digital).

What are the race routes like?

  • 1.25 KM Family Walk/Run – Easy loop, stroller-friendly
  • 5 KM Race – Scenic and moderately challenging with some uneven terrain
  • 1.25 KM Dog Walk – Relaxed route for you and your dog
  • The course includes grass and dirt paths. Comfortable, supportive footwear recommended.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. The 1.25 KM Dog Walk is dog-friendly. Dogs must be leashed, well-socialized, and cleaned up after. Water stations for dogs will be available.

Is the terrain stroller-friendly?

Yes, but some areas are grassy or uneven. Jogging strollers recommended.

Will there be a hydration station?

Yes. We will have a water refill station onsite for participants to refill reusable water bottles throughout the event.

Will the races be timed?

The 5 KM race is officially timed. The Family Walk/Run and Dog Walk are untimed.

What happens after the race?

Enjoy live music, food, and drinks in the vineyard. Winners of the 5 KM will be announced at 11:30 AM.

Is there a charity component?

  • Yes. 10% of event proceeds will be donated to Community Care.

What if it rains?

  • The event is rain or shine. Dress for the weather. Any severe weather updates will be posted on the Palatine Hills website and social media.

Should I worry about ticks?

  • This is an outdoor setting and ticks may be present. Wear long socks or leggings, use bug spray, and do a tick check after your race.

Is Palatine Hills liable for injuries?

No. Participation is at your own risk. Palatine Hills Estate Winery is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of property during the event.

Prep & join our monthly Run Club at the Winery

Looking to prep for the run or join a summer run club? We've brought back our Run Club, every Sunday at 10AM, at Palatine Hills Winery.

Join the Run Club and complete the trail each week to earn rewards:

  • Complete the run = Run Club sticker
  • Complete in under 30 minutes = FREE Ramblers wine flight
  • Get on the leaderboard (Top 5 best times) = Ramblers Club tee

☞ Every third Sunday of the month, you’ll also receive a guaranteed glass of wine on completion, in addition to the weekly perks.
