2020 Wild & Free White Meritage

The 2020 White Meritage represents one of the most unique wines Palatine Hills has ever produced. 

This signature blend of 50% Semillon and 50% Sauvignon Blanc aged in 12 months in an equal combination of new and neutral French oak barrels offers some impressive 'wow' factor. 

Notes of ripe apples, white peach, Bosc pears, and pineapple, but make no mistake this is a medium+ DRY white.  High complexity and intense flavours with additional oak, almond paste and subtle oatmeal biscuit. The weight of this beast is racy on the palate with a subtle hint of heat on the back palate and an ever-present and impressive minerality. 

Limited filtering and no fining!
