Or so the story goes! Either way, this bottle is all about harmony. It’s a crisp, 100% unoaked Chardonnay that’s very light and very true to tradition.

John has it exactly right. With its aromas of apple, pear, and white peach—all over a hint of citrus—this wine certainly won’t start a war. It could, however, be just the thing to end one.

HOW TO ENJOY THIS WINE

The balance here is outstanding, which makes this 1812 Unoaked Chardonnay the perfect accompaniment for mushroom polenta and risotto, grilled chicken or fish and shellfish.
