| ICEWINE | Cabernet Sauvignon Icewine 2006 (VQA) 375 ml Our very limited Cabernet Icewine exhibits a unique style with both the aroma and taste, offering allusions of Santa Rosa black plums, ripe red currants and strawberry jam. Harvested at temperatures between minus 10 to 14 degrees Celsius, has frozen the grapes resulting, a yield of 200 liters of intensely concentrated juice reaching 40.0 Brix. Cold fermented over a one-month period. Palatine has purposely bottled this elegant Icewine early to preserve all of the natural fruity characters of this well known varietal. Only 125 cases were produced. Magnificent by itself, it can also accompany creamy desserts, custards, soufflés, fruit desserts and pound cake.
Gold Medal winner of Top Cabernet Sauvignon Icewine and Best Red Icewine, Canadian Wine Challenge 2006. | Gewurztraminer Icewine 2006 (VQA) 200 ml This Icewine from the Gewurztraminer grape variety is glimmering gold in colour, with aromas of apricot, spice and honey. The natural acidity provides an ideal counterpoint to its delicious sweetness. When sipping on this golden delight, you will notice pleasant tropical fruits, such as mango and grapefruit, followed by genuine spiciness that gradually diminishes, leaving behind an immense honey essence. Wonderful by itself, it is also superb accompaniment to creamy desserts, custards, soufflés, fruit desserts, roasted almonds and grilled peaches.

| Vidal Select Late Harvest 2006 (VQA) 375 ml The Vidal grape variety, more commonly known for its famous sweet, deeply concentrated fruity attributes to Icewines, has been brought to its peak of excellence in a Select Late Harvest creation by Palatine Hills. This wine has a pale golden yellow tinge, and offers faint honey/nectar flavours and aromas. Still very young now, but with a well balanced acidity and an alcoholic content of 13.0%, this wine will continue develop, given the right amount of patience and self-control. Perfect for those who are searching for the rich honey characteristics of an Icewine, with only half the sweetness. Best served chilled and as an aperitif prior to, or following a meal. |

Robust and full of character, a red wine of extraordinary quality. Garnet red colour, a complex bouquet, and tastes of red plums, blackberries, and toasted oak make this wine a memory to savour! | Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2004 (VQA) Blended red varietals with soft, complex harmonies crafted to enjoy! A blend of two traditional, and well known red wines, exclusively from our Neufeld vineyards. Rich red colour. The blend exhibits a medium body with tastes of raspberries and blackberries. Light toasted oak, and a VERY soft finish. 20 months of barrel ageing. | Meritage 2004 (VQA) A blend of three traditional and well known red wines, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc exclusively from our Neufeld vineyards. Deep red colour with a tint of pale straw hue, the blend boasts a full-body, full flavoured character. Hints of blackberry, casis, vanilla and toasted oak abound after 24 months of barrel ageing. Enjoy with many meats: beef, pork, veal and wild game. Great with hearty winter soups. A versatile red wine with many hearty foods as well as BBQ dishes and character cheeses. | Meritage Proprietor's Reserve 2002 (VQA) Three Royal Kings (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot) have joined in equitable harmony and grandeur. A fully robust wine revealing luscious brambleberry notes, which are developed only by time and tenderness in the cool, dark solitude of our cellar. Barrel selected and blended evenly at 1/3, constructing a full bodied, hearty wine, with obvious hues of autumn. Rich flavours and a smooth, long lasting finish, makes this triad a memorable vintage.
| Merlot 2004 (VQA) A soft and subtle traditional red wine filled with aged complexity. Aged exclusively in American oak barrels for 18 months, at 15C, this wine is clearly a wonderful example of the Merlot varietal. Ruby red colour, with a rich bouquet, followed by tastes of raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, and toasted oak. A truly soft, and memorable wine. |

| | DRY-WHITE | Chardonnay 2004 Proprietor’s Reserve (VQA) Crafted in tradition “Sur Lie” style. Our winemaker’s affectionately nurtured this Chardonnay, obtaining a taste that is rich, smooth and creamy. A dry, elegant wine, with a bouquet of light citrus, and green apples. Brand new American oak barrels offer hints of vanilla, gunpowder, and spice. Pairs particularly well with fish, light sauces, and many fine hors d’oeuvres. | Chardonnay 2005 (oaked) (VQA) Fermented in new oak barrels "sur lie" style: unique with elegant complexity. Rich, smooth and creamy on the palate this is a medium bodied dry white wine with notes of both citrus fruit and green apples. An aged bouquet with nuances of vanilla and toasted oak help create this very classy styled varietal. Truly a masterpiece of the Vintner's Art. Pair with poultry, lamb, pork, fish (light and flakey) most shellfish, mushroom/truffles, hors d'oeuvres. Great with wild pheasant and cornish hens. Light to medium flavoured cheeses. | Chardonnay 2007 (VQA) Crafted by a cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks (no oak).. to sustain fresh fruity characters..pale straw in colour ....light and crisp with hints of apple, pear and citrus. Fruity aromas and palate, and bottled young to create a fresh and popular style. The wine is great for sipping anytime, and served slightly chilled. Compliments light fish, chicken, turkey, lamb and pastas.
| Fume Blanc 2007 PR (VQA) Crafted with "sur lie" style. Unique, refreshing, "not typical grassy ...elegant & rich! Aromas of light toasted American oak, and hints of vanilla can be found in the very rich and fresh bouquet. The palate exhibits nuances of oak flavours, smokey, with notes of gooseberry, and pear characters. This uniquely French styled wine does not have the often typical herbaceous (grassy) characters found in most young Souvignon Blanc wines. |

| | SEMI-DRY | Gewürztraminer 2006 Proprietor's Reserve (VQA) Typical varietal characters: fragrant, spicy, fruity, with a soft finish. Mosel styled wine. Uniquely intense white wine reminescent of citrus, grapefruit, and melon characters. Aromas and palate are very fruity and fresh and truly represents the true varietal characters. Well balanced with acid & sweetness. A very memorable wine! | Riesling – Traminer 2007 (VQA) A soft blend of two Germanic classics. Fruity, aromatic, and lingering freshness. Typically Mosel styled Germanic wine, crafted to be fruity, soft, followed with a hint of natural grape sweetness. Blended from Johannesburg Riesling and Gewurtztraminer, and finished with a touch of Gewurtz Ice wine exhibits a fruity grapefruit fragrance (perfume) and a full bodied palate of melon, apricot, and peach flavours. Pleasantly enjoyed by all. | Rosé 2006 (VQA) Our winemakers special blend of Cabernet Franc, Riesling and Vidal Icewine. A brilliant collaboration of Niagara’s most widely grown and celebrated grape varieties. Brining these three varietals together, has transformed this wine into a graceful, well balanced, medium dry Rosé, with a fruity soft, lingering finish. A light pink or “partridge eye” colour, along with fruity berry aromas, and just the right amount of zest to make our 2006 Rosé the perfect summertime wine, enjoyed with family and friends anytime, where ever good times are had. | Vidal 2004 (VQA) Crafted in the exclusive Palatine Hills Estate style, this Vidal was put through a slow, cool fermentation to a dry status in stainless steel tanks, capturing the clean vibrant fruit flavours of apples, apricots, and a slight, yet undeniable honey tones. Blended with precisely the appropriate percentage of Vidal Icewine 2004 to form a wine that is soft, flintly, and loaded with varietal characteristics. Perfect companion to a lazy sweltering summer day, enjoyed with a large selection of cheeses, fish, chicken and seafood. |

| | SPARKLING | Juliette Blanc de Blancs 2004 (VQA) SOLD IN-STORE ONLY Palatine Hills Juliette Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine has been produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Grown exclusively in our own Estate Vineyards, the grapes were selectively hand-harvested in early September 2004. Only the premium "free-flowing" juice was used as our cuvee, and enjoyed 3 years of aging in our cellars after the bottle fermentation was completed. Our Juliette has a refined structure, exhibiting elegant citrus blossom and floral notes in the bouquet. The palate is crisp and firm with typical aged Chardonnay characters ... crispy citrus, hints of delicate vanilla and an absolutely seamless finish....enjoy! |
